Musa O.S Batchilly is a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Gambia with 22 years of experience in Law practice. He was called to the Gambian BAR in February 2002 after successfully completing the BAR Vocational Training in 2001 after which he served as a 1st class Magistrate at the Kanifing Magistrate Court and Banjul Magistrate Court for about 9 months. Musa joined Antouman A.B Gaye Chambers in 2002 first as a pupil trainee and then became a junior associate until 2006 when he ventured out to set up his own private Law practice called Batchilly Chambers which currently boast of 4 Junior Associates and a pupil trainee.

He lectured Criminal Law at the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) from 2004 to 2009 and was a member of the executive of the Gambia Bar Association for 4 consecutive years. He was also appointed as Counsel to the Jammeh Commission of Enquiry in 2018 and dealt with the matter pertaining to the acquisition, renovations, refurbishment, and leasing of Ocean Bay hotel & Sunbeach Hotel.
